Sarah Jack is an Asian-American action actress and choreographer. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019. Since then, Jack has worked on various live events and film projects throughout Texas. Her films have made it into festivals such as Outfest, Big Apple Film Festival, Beyond the Short, Daily Short Pick, Retrospective of Jupiter, ATX Short Film Showcase, Shorted, Golden Sparrow International Film Festival and more.
Jack's most recent brainchild More As Needed is a dance theatre piece about the Opioid Crisis. This work was produced by the Cohen New Works Festival and made in collaboration with writer/director Lane Stanley. In 2022 Jack and Stanley revisited the work creating: Promise. This iteration is made possible by a grant through Art With Impact and community support. It also awarded winner of AWI Short Film Competition December 2022.
